Read plans and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems
Cutting, assembling and installing pipes and hoses taking into account existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)
Installation and maintenance of water supply systems
Locate and fix problems with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
Repair or replace broken drain lines, clogged drains, faucets, etc.
Repair of household appliances (e.g. washing machines) and installations (e.g. sinks) etc.
Installation and maintenance of gas and liquid heating systems (air conditioners, radiators, etc.)
Install waste disposal and sanitation facilities with well-functioning DWV systems.
requirements
Possess a Basic/SSCE qualification
3 years and more work experience
Proven experience as a plumber
In-depth understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
Knowledge of heating and ventilation systems and household appliances
Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly with a lot of patience
Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in difficult spaces
Degree from a commercial school or successfully completed vocational training.
